Quality respite care in Country Victoria

Working with Camp Recovery Respite to provide respite accommodation

Seven Hills Tallarook has a partnership with Camp Recovery Respite, a local respite care service, to provide respite accommodation by appointment and application to those in need. Our sprawling hobby farm is the perfect location for both carers and those needing care to have a break. Camp Recovery Respite’s director Sue provides a professional, compassionate, and collaborative approach to planning your stay, considering the needs of each individual while liaising with the Seven Hills Tallarook team to make sure everything is sorted prior to arrival.

About Camp Recovery Respite

Founded by registered carer Sue, Camp Recovery Respite is an independent service that connects those seeking excellent respite care with the right match for their circumstances. Respite care can be included in your NDIS plan as a tool for enhancing your independence, building life skills, and having a community access experience.

Respite accommodation packages organised through Camp Recovery Respite can be tailored to suit the individual, including as much or as little interaction as possible. All meals are included in packages; however, guests are welcome to self-cater if they wish.

Why choose Seven Hills Tallarook for your respite accommodation?

When it comes to places tailor-made for rest, relaxation, and mindfulness, you can’t get much better than Seven Hills. Set on 600 acres of stunning farmland, the main homestead is fully equipped with modern amenities for your convenience.

Guests are able to get in touch with nature and interact with the farm’s wide array of animals, including the nine pet goats that live in the paddock to welcome you - along with three friendly dogs, one cat, a donkey, and a handful of chickens that lay eggs for delicious on-site breakfasts. Those staying on the farm are also encouraged to engage in activities that meet their needs - such as bushwalking, fishing, games, puzzles, and feeding the animals.
