Seven Hills Tallarook

Our Farm

Boer goat and hosting events and pepole Since 2000

Seven Hills Tallarook is a commercial working Goat farm that is completely off-grid, located one hour north of Melbourne. Originally purchased in 2000 as a 600-acre bush block, Boer Goes were soon introduced in large numbers, to clean, clear and introduce paddocks and pasture. It became very obvious that there was a gap in the market place for the supply of both high-quality goat meat/small goods to the restaurant industry and breeding stock to new to industry goat farmers. Our branding was soon highly recognized in the goating industry for all things goats.

Our Story

Local Family Farm

We harness wind and solar energy to power our houses and farm, we are totally off-grid. Our pristine water comes from captured rainwater and natural underground springs. The farm has changed over the years to accommodate Farm Stay, Tiny and Micro Houses as well as camping. We offer a private unique experience across the board. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two to a large group of family and friends that want a quiet getaway in a luxurious homestead. We now cater for functions, weddings, Bucks and Hens nights, small conferences and more.

Our farm is very special with diverse wildlife, 2 kilometres of Sunday Creek frontage, 10kms of internal roads. We have many farm animals for the kids to play with and feed! A few special characters like Harvey the “coolest “cat, Ash, Lucy and Cowboy the crazy, cuddly loving dogs, “Baby Goat” who no longer is a baby, chickens, alpacas, horses and sheep. Whether you are looking at sitting on the deck reading a book or having a quiet ale or bushwalking, hiking, riding we have something for everyone. You are even welcome to join us in our day-to-day activities on the farm to get a hands-on experience as to what life on a farm looks like.
