The market is being established by the Victorian Farmers’ Market Association and the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria; an exciting combination of two organisations with the future and good health of local agriculture firmly in their sights. Unlike anything other fresh food shopping, farmers’ markets bring a true slice of rural life to the city and provide the Melbourne community an opportunity to meet and support regional producers’ direct.

Seven Hills Tallarook had an awesome time showcasing our premium goats meat products at the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo in Feb 2010. Checkout the video below that shows all of the action!
Seven Hills Tallarook Launches its Smallgoods Range:
Managing Director Taylan Atar (pictured in the centre above) discussing the Hansa Meat owner, Terry Connelly (on the left) and, MoMo's Head Chef Troy Payne (on the right) plan for the launch of the Seven Hill Tallarook Goat Ham. This Ham has been developed with the assistance of Hansa Meats and will be launched at the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo 2010. This is a product that is an alternative to pork ham. These products will be available from the following gourmet food stores:

Windsor Deli - 33 Hornby St, Windsor
Blue Chair Cafe - 611 Nepean Hwy, Carrum
Seven Hills Tallarook support University of Melbourne Veterinary Students Work Experiance:
Each semester Seven Hills Tallarook hosts students from the Univeristy of Melbourne Veterinary Course on a week's work experience. These students come from all over the world and add another dimension to the Seven Hills' skill base. Most students have some farming experience but none to date have worked with goats.
Valerie Molinari (pictured above) is from Porto Rico and is in her first year at Melbourne University. Porto Rico is a destination for Australian Goat Meat.
Other students to date have been Brittany, Courtney, and Laura all from the United States of America and Jenny from Canada.
